SAAVED
Set Apart Aiming Victoriously to Eliminate Diseases
As a disease, the acquired immuno-deficiency syndrome (AIDS) is an epidemic; as a social and political phenomenon, it has profoundly influenced many aspects of contemp-orary life. Since its recognition in 1981, the AIDS epidemic "has been paralleled closely by rapidly expanding literature concerned with many aspects of the disease".
OUR MISSION
restoring life and health

is bringing awareness to people by educating and teaching, through counseling, retreats, and seminars the prevention of HIV/AIDS and other STD’s.

Book Tyeshia to speak to your group.
Tyeshia Alston is a 29 year old native of Dallas, Texas, and an activist for HIV/AIDS.

In 2005 at the age of 25, Alston was diagnosed with HIV and she has been on a mission since 2006 to educate people (especially our youth) about HIV/AIDS.

Alston has been to Washington, DC speaking to our legislators about this devastating disease and how it is impacting our communities as well as requesting better health care for people who have tested positive for HIV/AIDS.

Alston has been a guest on the “Rickey Smiley Morning Show”, the “Live Life” talk show with Duncanville High School. Alston has been on panels for National Minority AIDS Council and other local organizations. Last but not least she speaks in local churches, public schools, parole offices; Alston says “she will go anywhere where people will listen.”
